The Student Mentorship Program is open to all Cobb County high school band students. Students who are selected to serve as mentors at the Cobb Summer Band Camp will have the opportunity to assist the camp directors, work alongside the conductors and clinicians, and interact with the middle school musicians. We are looking for dynamic and positive servant leaders who demonstrate exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to work cohesively in a team setting. Students interested in applying should complete our student mentor application.
Applicants will notified by no later than June 1, 2020.
STEP #1: Create a Video
Include a brief 3-minute video in which you introduce yourself and describe how you display willingness to serve others. You can use this part of the application to showcase your personality, musical talent, and creativity!
Videos should be submitted as online videos using YouTube, Vimeo, or another online video platform that does not require downloading to view. Password-protected videos will not be considered. We recommend ensuring your videos are unlisted with the comments turned off. Applicants are responsible for the playability of the video and accuracy of the URL address.
