Any middle school student who has completed 6th, 7th, or 8th grade band

If you have registered your student, you have successfully secured your student's place in one of three concert bands at the Cobb Summer Band Camp. Auditions are for band placement only and submitted via audio recording. Recordings will be uploaded in a Google Form that can be accessed using the link below. The window to submit your Band / Chair Auditions is May 15 through June 1, 2026. Auditions help us determine where to place your student so they can have the best experience.
Students are asked to perform as many scales as they know. They may use a scale sheet they used in band from this past year, a prior honor band scales audition (i.e. GMEA Honor Band or All-State), or they can choose to use our very own Audition Scale Sheet, which can be found by clicking on the button below. Simply select your instrument to download your scales sheet.
